[mehr]The Apartamentos Alcalá are located in a suburb of Madrid called Alcalá de Henares very near the Universidad de Alcalá which is merely a 3 minutes walk. From here you can easily reach the capital of Spain with the excellent Renfe commuter rail system which will take you to the city centre in the famous Atocha station in a matter of 25 minutes. The Renfe station is a little over 2 km from the apartments. From here you can also explore the country's literary history by making a pilgrimage to the birthplace of Miguel de Cervantes, writer of the beloved Don Quixote, which is just a stone's throw away. The square named after him, the Plaza de Cervantes is just 3 minute walk and the Catedral Magistral de Alcala is just one minute away.The Aparatmentos Alcala are a total of 20 apartments with a surface area of about 25 or 45 square metres, and sleep either up to 3 or 5 people total. The apartments are small but functional and are decorated in white. There is a double bedroom in the apartments for 3 and two bedrooms in the apartments for 5, an optional extra bed, fully equipped kitchen, dining table, bathroom and balconies with excellent views of the Calle Mayor or interior patio. All apartments are equipped with plasma TV, air conditioning / heating, and Wi-Fi internet. In the kitchen there is a microwave, fridge, tea pot and washing machine.
