Downstairs at the Ambrose Hotel is a very comfortable oak beamed traditional inn were the three R's really come into being the three R's being 'Real Ale' 7 real ales 'Good Beer Guide' listed 'Real Food' the menu is cooked with the finest local fresh produce and 'Real Fire' what better place to have a few pints of ale or bottle of wine and just unwind. The hotel welcomes children of any age cots available but does request as the hotel is a busy town centre hotel that children under the ages of 16 retire upstairs to their hotel room after 9.30pm.
