[mehr]The Apartment Friedrichshain I is a modern apartment which is found in one of the most pleasant parts of Berlin, the bohemian Friedrichshain, just at the border or another beautiful neighbourhood, Prenzlauer Berg. Both districts are now part of the centre of the German capital, but formed what was once part of East Berlin, the communist side of the city. The low housing prices attracted many young people and artists after unification and gave this area of Berlin a unique character which can still be seen today. There are plenty of bars, cafes, art galleries, cinemas and alternative cultural projects going on regularly. If you want to explore other parts of the city, there is the U5 metro line just 200 metres away.The apartment is 60m2 and has two double rooms with a double bed, one of which has also a sofa bed; a kitchen and a bathroom, for a total capacity of 6 people. The kitchen is fully equipped so that guests can easily prepare self-catered meals (there are plenty of supermarkets nearby where you can do the food shopping). The street where the apartment is located is very quiet, so you can get plenty of rest on your visit to Berlin. A bright and sunny apartment in a bohemian neighbourhood of Berlin.
