Our waterfront paradise is on the island, Isla Carenero.
The resort now encompasses 6 1 / 2 acres of lush, tropical landscaping and over 600 feet of waterfront. Our backyard is verdant rainforest. We set on a point facing west, which captures the refreshing Caribbean breeze and offers up fabulous sunsets.
We are just a two minute boat ride across the bay to Bocas Town. We enjoy the convenience of close proximity to town, yet are removed from the hub hub, noise, pavement, cars and heat, while on our own tropical island.
The resort is peaceful and quiet. We have hummingbird feeders throughout. Many different birds, including parrots can be heard singing and conversing in the trees. Butterflies including huge Blue Morphos abound, geckos and fiddler crabs are simply a fact of life here.
Our guests enjoy sunning, swimming, fishing, reading and relaxing on recliner chairs on our dock and in the small Ranchos over the water. Our fish habitat under and around our dock which has attracted many more of the uniquely colored tropical fish and snorkeling right off our dock is a wonderful underwater adventure.
A Three hundred fifty foot dock extends out over the water leading you to the popular Cosmic Crab Café. Our delicious food and exotic frozen drinks are considered by tourists and local residents alike to be amongst the best in Bocas.
We currently have six NO SMOKING cottages for nightly or weekly rentals. We are finished with our largest Crab cottage which is more than twice the size of the next largest cottage and will sleep 6+ people.
Smoking is allowed outside on the porch or on the grounds
Out themed 2 room air conditioned cottages (Hummingbird Cottage, Toucan Cottage and Starfish Cottage) are furnished with a Queen bed, twin beds, table and chairs, fridge, microwave large bathroom with "instant on" hot water shower, TV and DVD player, Porch with rocking chairs and water view.
Our air conditioned traditional thatch roof 1 room studio style Butterfly Cottage is furnished with a Queen bed, loveseat, microwave and mini fridge, coffee maker, bathroom with hot water shower, porch with rocking chairs and waterfront view of the bay and Bocas Town.
Our Smallest Cabin is the Coconut Cottage with queen bed, shower, toilet, and sink with AC.
Our resort has WiFi over the property.
We offer housekeeping service, fresh towels and linen.
Additional laundering (washed, dried and folded) is available at $ 10.00 / load.
