This is a special place - take a deep breath, relax & unwind. Tangiaro Kiwi Retreat is the brainchild of New Zealanders, Bruce and Anne Clegg, who purchased this land - approx 800 acres, in 2000. They were pleased to secure this extremely valuable piece of New Zealand flora and fauna, and the majority of the land has been protected by the Queen Elizabeth II National Trust. We maintain a peaceful, low impact presence on the land with our well-appointed luxury bush lodges. Relax in the tranquility & understated opulence of our self-catering, luxury bush lodges. Bathe in natural un-chlorinated rain water, recline on the deck with a good book or curl up by the fire. Fully self contained with well equipped kitchen, laundry, open plan lounge and dining.
