In typical Tyrol style you'll be welcomed with a glass of schnappes and the rooms are quite comfortable. Gerlos offers a good compromise between cost and services. The resort is equipped with numerous facilities and offers access to an immense ski area. The ski pass is good at all of the resorts of the Zillertal. Even though the ski area of Gerlos itself is relatively limited and more geared towards intermediate skiers, there are on-ski links that lead to extensive areas. However, the main advantage of the resort is undoubtedly its low prices, which set it apart from most other Austrian resorts.
