It is held at the Greyville Racecourse and combines high stakes with haute-couture and various festivities, parades, music and dining options. Traditionally the Durban July is followed by multiple after parties.
The July is held on the first Saturday of the month and racing commences at 11h00, with the final race at about 20h00. Please note that parking tickets need to be pre-purchased. Grandstand tickets cost approximately 15 Euro and various packages are also on offer, details of which can be found at the website.
