This property is an excellent starting point for those wanting to explore the Medieval capital of Ireland-Kilkenny with its Norman Castle-as well as the former Viking port city of Waterford, the bustling cosmopolitan Norman town of Wexford and the thriving market town of Carlow.Superb shopping awaits you in all four towns.The village with its river Barrow flowing through is also a delight for fishing enthusiasts and for walkers, who can explore the many beautiful lochs along its banks. For the more energetic, Brandon Hill is situated just outside the village and cannot be beaten for its view on a clear day. The Blackstairs mountains and Mount Leinster are also close by.
