[mehr]Hotel Rural Orotava is a picturesque establishment located in a stately home which dates back to the end of the XVII century and is situated at the historic heart of Orotava, in the north of Tenerife. The village covers a good part of the Orotava Valley, at the foothills of the Teide, where you will also find places of interest such as Puerto de la Cruz and Los Realejos.This huge house covers some 700m2 spread over two floors and a small tower from which you can enjoy beautiful views of the old town, the town hall square, the sea, the mountain and the impressive Teide Volcano. Guests sleep in double rooms with single beds, a private bathroom, TV, telephone, safe and free wireless Internet access. Breakfast comes included in the price of the accommodation. Part of the house used to be the stables and is decorated with some of the original details. There are just 8 guest rooms at this hotel and they are all on the first floor of the house. You will also find a cosy lounge and reading room and a traditional, rural kitchen. What’s more, on the ground floor there is a large internal patio and a service area with some washing machines, a bar, dining rooms and the old wine cellar. The whole house will make you feel as though you have travelled back in time. You can also book a number of activities at the hotel too or even rent a car.
