Located in the charming village of Schiazzano, the house owes its name to Lubra (from the latin de lubrum, meaning Temple of the Mermaids), the original name of Massa Lubrense.
The building, on three levels , includes a reception room for guests, breakfast room, internet room, reading hall and six panoramic rooms with each with its own customised decor and colour palette.
The house also has a terrace - solarium, garden, a relaxing bath with Jacuzzi and a restaurant-wine cellar, where will be possible taste the gourmet cuisine of our chef.
The refined ambience and soft music offer an oasis of peace for your holiday on the Sorrentine peninsula.
Here you can enjoy your late breakfast whilst admiring the view of the islands of the Gulf of Naples, read a book, take a tour to Positano, Capri, Pompei and Amalfi, or a walking tour to Massa Lubrense and Sant’ Agata.
Will also be availability for our guest, a boat (12 people) with a sailor, smart lunch and drinks on board, to make excursions in the Gulf, touching the most attractive tourist destinations, including the island of Capri and Positano.
Lubra Casa Relax was built in a luxury 16th century hause, and still preserves some elements of the original building. For example, a fine fresco on the vaulted ceiling of the entrance, the ancient main door, historic sandstone stairway and the lapillus coverings.
Completely surrounded by the greenery of the Mediterranean scrub, the building boasts fine antiques, which belonged to one of the most ancient families who lived in Massa Lubrense.
In the course of the centuries Lubra Casa Relax was once the residence of local priests is this which lends a mix of a memories past solemnity to the comfort of modern technology.
