[mehr]Ideally situated in the heart of Nîmes, close to the station and two steps from the Arena, the Hôtel des Tuileries is a comfortable and peaceful 2* hotel.
Our rooms all have private bathrooms and a balcony, and they are all tastefully decorated and spacious with around 16m2 of floor space in the bedroom. Each room is equipped with air-conditioning / heating, fridge, television (Canal+ and CNN), large writing desk, direct dial telephone and lots of storage space.
On the ground floor you will find our reception and the breakfast / meeting room, the bar and free WIFI. The hotel also has a secure closed garage for safe parking of your bicycle, motorbike or car.
A buffet breakfast is served in the breakfast room or if you prefer can be served in your room. For midday and evening meals, you will find a selection of excellent restaurants to suit all styles and budgets within 100 metres of the hotel.
The hotel is owned and run by English couple Andrew and Caryn who speak fluent French and English and who will be delighted to advise you on where to go, what to see and where to find the best restaurants and bars, so that your visit to Nîmes is truly memorable.

• Located in a quiet street right in the centre of Nîmes, an easy 5 minutes walk from the station and bus station.
• 5 minutes walk to the centre of town, and the roman arena.
• By car 10 to 15 minutes from the autoroute. An ideal base for visits around the region with numerous centres of interest within 30 to 60 minutes drive. (Avignon, Orange, Pont du Gard, Uzes, Arles, the Camargue, Aigues Mort, Anduze, the Cevennes, the Mediterranean coast).
• Secure garage in the same street high enough to take van or minibus (with 5 car spaces).

Guest rooms at the Hôtel des Tuileries are quiet and bright thanks to full size double windows leading out to a private balcony. Our rooms are spacious with around 16m2 of floor space in each of the bedrooms and all are tastefully decorated. All the rooms have a private bathroom and each room is equipped with air-conditioning / heating, fridge, television (Canalsat and CNN), large writing desk, direct dial telephone and lots of storage space. Free WIFI is available in the hotel.
Breakfast, Bar and Restaurant at Hôtel Des Tuileries, Nîmes
Breakfast: Start the day with fresh bread and croissants still warm from our local boulangerie, served with fresh coffee, tea or hot chocolate (as many refills as you like). From the buffet, help yourself to cereals, yogurts, cheeses, jams, fresh fruit and a variety of breads for toasting. We serve the buffet breakfast in the breakfast room on the ground floor or in your room if you prefer breakfast in bed.
Bar: Beers, wines and soft drinks are available for purchase at the reception. During the coming weeks, the hotel will be launching a bar for the sale of beers, wines, champagnes and soft drinks.
Restaurant: Directly across the street from the hotel we are lucky to have a great little local restaurant called “La Palette Gourmande”. Owned and run by Joel and Veronique, La Palette is popular with locals and visitors alike for lunches and evening meals. If you are arriving late in the evening or if you prefer to dine in private, you can order ahead for a meal to be served in your hotel room. Contact reception for details.
